Last Friday morning, I opened up Soundcloud and this song appeared at the top of my stream. As soon as I heard Julia Steiner’s musings about the possibilities of leaving forever and becoming a payphone removal specialist, I was hooked. It was a fantastic start to my morning.
There is a special introspective allure that comes with a late night alone. This song, with its quotable verses and expansive guitar-driven hook, captures it perfectly. The Halloween-themed video is a treat to watch as well.
